Critics Review
This wonderful book includes detailed and helpful information about how people of any age can improve their brain health. The recommendations are strongly based in science and include practical tips about how we can make changes in our physical activity, stimulate our brains, remain engaged with other people, obtain proper nutrition, optimize sleep, and maintain the vital cognitive skills that help us do things we enjoy in life. This book will be especially valuable for middle-aged and older adults who want to age successfully, avoid Alzheimer’s disease and other severe cognitive impairment, and live fuller and more active lives. I’m going to make this book a gift for my friends and family members who want to age successfully but may not know what steps to take.–William E. Haley, PhD, Distinguished University Professor, School of Aging Studies, University of South Florida, Tampa, FL, United States
