About The Author

Vic Macioci

Frédéric Brrémaud is a prolific author with over a hundred titles published across various genres and for all audiences. He has worked with numerous publishers, including Dargaud, Bamboo, Vents d’Ouest, Le Lombard, Paquet, Urban, and Soleil.

With Federico Bertolucci, he co-created the series Love, Brindille, and Little Tails, earning multiple Eisner Award nominations. Their work Les Vacances de Donald was published by Glénat Disney, and they also won the Jury Prize at Lucca Comics.

Brremaud’s collaboration with Giovanni Rigano on the series Tête de pioche was published by Dargaud.

Vic Macioci was born in Rome in 1991. After completing high school with a focus on literature, she moved to France to study, graduating from the Émile Cohl School in Lyon in 2016 with a specialization in comics and illustration.

Her first series, Gravity Level, a science fiction work written by Lorenzo Palloni and published by Sarbacane, earned her the Gran Guinigi Award for Best Drawing at Lucca Comics & Games in 2020. She also contributed to the anthology Nées Rebelles, written by Morin, Derain, and Hopman and published by Démain.

Macioci is also an illustrator for publishers like Giunti and Ablaze, and a character designer for video games such as Roller Drama and Becoming Saint (Open Lab). Additionally, she teaches character design and traditional techniques at the Idea Academy in Rome, an international school for visual development.
