About the Author

Tovah P. Klein, PhD, is a leading child development psychologist and the Director of the Barnard College Center for Toddler Development in Manhattan. She is a child resilience expert, supporting children in the wake of natural disaster or global turmoil and consults internationally on parenting children in the early years. She has contributed to publications including New York Times, Huffington Post and Wall Street Journal. She is the mother of three boys and lives in New York.
