About the Author

Tony Bradman is the lead author of OUP's highly successful and innovative new reading initiative, Project X. Tony has written over 20 books for children of all ages and his work has been translated into many languages. He has edited many anthologies of short stories and poetry, and has also reviewed books for the national press. Anaïs Goldemberg is a freelance illustrator based in Nantes, France. She paints funky witches, sweet dragons, rockin' bears andswingin' princesses. She loves working in gouache and also makes puppets. Nikki Gamble is the founder and Director of Write Away and Just Imagine Story Centre. Nikki has worked in education and reading promotionfor over 25 years, Formerly a teacher (secondary and primary) and teacher educator, she is lecturer, writer and education consultant. Nikki is also on the current Executive Committee of United Kingdom Literacy Association (UKLA).
