Timothy Larsen
Timothy Larsen is McManis Professor of Christian Thought and Professor of History at Wheaton College and an Honorary Fellow of the School of Divinity at Edinburgh University. He has been a Visiting Fellow at Trinity College, Cambridge, All Souls College, Oxford, and Christ Church, Oxford. He is the author of nine books, including The Slain God: Anthropologists and the Christian Faith (OUP, 2014) and John Stuart Mill: A Secular Life (OUP, 2018), and has edited 14 volumes, including The Oxford Handbook of Christmas (2020). He is also the president of the American Society of Church History.
