The Disney Comics Group was an American comic book publisher formed in 1990 as a business unit of Disney Publishing Worldwide, Inc., itself part of The Walt Disney Company. The company aimed to revitalize Disney’s presence in the comic book market, introducing new creative talent and innovative storytelling approaches. However, it ceased operations in 1993 due to financial challenges and declining sales.
