About The Author
Terry Robinson
Terry Robinson is a Respiratory Nurse Consultant at the Harrogate District Hospital in Yorkshire, where she has worked for 14 years. Previously, she has worked as a respiratory nurse trainer and practice nurse. She manages a team of respiratory nurses for patients both within the hospital and the community, and divides her role between clinical work and research, guideline, and service development. She served as president of the Yorkshire Thoracic Society, and was awarded Nursing Times Respiratory Nurse of the Year.
Jane Scullion is a Consultant Respiratory Nurse at the University Hospitals of Leicester, and a member of the East Midlands Clinical Senate. She works across primary and secondary care, and is the Regional Clinical Lead for Home Oxygen, as well as working with patients who have chronic respiratory conditions. She is on the editorial board of Thorax and primary Health Care, is a RCN advisor for NICE, and the East Midlands Regional Chair for the British Lung Foundation. In 2018 she was awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award for her outstanding contribution to respiratory nursing by the Association of Respiratory Nurse Specialists.
