Uno de los artistas Pin-Up más prolíficos de la década de los 40 y 50. Nacido en Boston, se graduó en arte y estudió en La Sorbona de París. Como otros artistas de su época, se retiró a pintar retratos artísticos. Su carrera no se limitó a las portadas de revistas; también trabajó en publicidad y en Hollywood.
