It was on an April evening that five little pigs were born in a cardboard box. One of the little pigs was called Barney. He was cheerful, bright and brave but a little different from his brothers and sisters... Barney has a long nose. Barney felt so lonely. One night, he talked to the stars in the sky, wondering if he even belonged to this family of short-nosed pigs at all. His friend, a sparrow named Rascal encouraged him to find out who he was. Can Barney find out who he is?

Tatana Ondrasikova (1977) is a Czech educator and author of children's books (Barney the Piglet, Maggie). She has worked in various educational and cultural institutions (British Council, Czech Centres, Czech Scout Association). Tatana enjoys interconnecting people and inspiring them to make changes and become creative. Her great passion is working with children. She finds inspiration for her work in her Scout Group, her kid's yoga classes and also in her little daughter Ronja. Tatana's stories for children are influenced by her love for travelling and yoga, playfulness and love for life. At the moment she cooperates on an animated TV series Barney The Piglet in Zlin.Pavel Ondrasik (1977) is a Czech artist and film director working in Prague and Zlin. He works as an author and illustrator of children's books (Barney the Piglet, Maggie, Spindle Boy), a film director, a comic books artist and a painter. In painting, he uses both traditional (oil on canvas, watercolours, gouache) and digital methods. As a film-maker, he focuses on adventurous stories with humour and puts a strong emphasis on a character and his evolution. He is well-known for his work on a first Central European 3D animated feature movie called "Goat Story - old Prague legends" (2008) which has become the most successful animated movie in the Czech Republic. He also cooperated on its sequel. Movies were translated to many languages and received a number of awards (e.g. main award at an animation festival in Buenos Aires or Czech Lion award nomination). At the moment Pavel works as an artist and film director of an animated TV series Barney the Piglet in Zlin.
