Sumit Kumar, PhD

Sumit Kumar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Food Technology at JAIN (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru, Karnataka. He holds a B. Tech in Agricultural Engineering and an M. Tech in Process and Food Engineering from GB Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar, Uttarakhand. His PhD in Food Process Engineering was completed at the National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management (NIFTEM), Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu. His doctoral research focused on utilizing waste from the food processing industry and biomass for developing adsorbent materials and extracting valuable compounds. He has published over 12 national and international papers in peer-reviewed SCI journals, holds 4 published Indian patents, and serves as a reviewer for numerous national and international journals.

Naveen Kumar Arora, PhD Microbiology

Naveen Kumar Arora is a Professor and Dean of the School of Earth and Environmental Sciences at Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Lucknow. He is a distinguished researcher in Environmental Microbiology and Biotechnology, with a specialization in rhizosphere biology and plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR). He has authored more than 100 research papers in leading international journals and edited 45 books published by international publishers. He is a member of several national and international societies, serves on the editorial board of 4 journals, and is a reviewer for multiple international journals. Recognized among the top 2% of scientists globally by Stanford University and Elsevier B.V., he is also the Editor-in-Chief of the journal Environmental Sustainability and Series Editor of the book series Microorganisms for Sustainability. He has advised 18 doctoral students and received awards for research excellence from the Governor of Uttar Pradesh, India, the Asian PGPR Society, and the Samagra Vikas Welfare Society. He is a Fellow of the International Society for Environmental Botanists and has delivered keynote and plenary addresses at conferences worldwide. He has established research collaborations with scientists in Germany, Uzbekistan, USA, and Turkey, among other countries. While dedicated to his academic and research career, he is also passionate about wildlife and its conservation, authoring the book Splendid Wilds. He holds leadership positions as President of the Society for Conservation of Wildlife and Secretary of the Society for Environmental Sustainability.

Krushna Prasad Shadangi, PhD

Krushna Prasad Shadangi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology, Burla, Odisha, India. He earned his doctorate in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Guwahati. With ten years of research experience in biofuel technologies, he has contributed eight book chapters to edited volumes and published over 30 papers in peer-reviewed SCI journals. He is also a member of the editorial board for five international journals.
