A cottage in Northumberland called Skylarks offers Heather escape, anonymity, and the possibility of a new start. This is her chance to leave a ruined past behind and bury away forever the terrible secret she hides. But as she settles into her new surroundings, she becomes convinced that her husband has followed her. It seems that Stephen, who’s been dead for almost two years, has tracked her down and does not intend leaving her in peace.

Sue Lumb enjoys storytelling, is a keen artist, and enjoys wildlife and the countryside. She has had a long career working for a well-known stately home in the Peak District. Working and living on a country estate has provided her with an endless source of creative inspiration. Seven Minutes to Four is Sue’s second published novel. She is based in Lincolnshire.
