Stuart Hillard is an internationally recognized quilt designer, teacher, and home decor expert. With over twenty-five years of experience, he has more than 100 published patterns to his name and is a monthly columnist with Sew magazine and British Patchwork and Quilting. Stuart is known for his fun, fresh, inclusive, and achievable approach. He gained recognition as the maverick star of the first series of BBC2’s The Great British Sewing Bee. He makes frequent television appearances, including as a guest judge on Channel 4’s Kirstie’s Handmade Christmas, and a regular presenter on craft television in the UK and USA. He has represented global companies including Accuquilt, Bernina, HandiQuilter and Gutermann at trade and consumer craft shows globally.
