Steve Tesich was an acclaimed playwright and screenwriter, known for his work on projects such as the Academy Award-winning film Breaking Away and The World According to Garp. He also authored the novel Summer Crossing, published in 1982. Tesich passed away in 1996 at the age of fifty-three.
