Steve Kantner, a South Florida fixture for 50 years, has walked and fished practically every foot of surf, pier, and canal bank that’s accessible on foot. After showcasing his unique approach to guiding on television and as the host of a drive-time radio program, Kantner became a full-time writer, editor, and fly casting instructor whose work has appeared in Salt Water Sportsman, Florida Sportsman, Fly Rod & Reel, Fly Fishing in Salt Waters, the South Florida Sun Sentinel, Florida Fishing Weekly, and more. He lives in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
