What They're Saying

Critics Review

“As usual another light hearted story situated in beautiful Kent. I love th character Patricia Fisher and all her friends. This story has twists and turns and just when you know who the murderer is, it turns out to be someone completely different. I’m definitely going to buy the next one when the author finds time during this Pandemic and birth of his new child to write it. Brilliant read and certainly one to recommend to my friends.”; “I started a few month ago on the first Patricia Fisher cruise mysteries and I was hooked!”; “Love Patricia Fisher and her entourage. There is always humour along with a darn good tale. Well written with great characters and a really good plot along with an ongoing thread of a story.”

About The Author

Steve Higgs

The author was mostly disinterested in every subject at school except creative writing, for which, at age ten, he won his first award. However, calling it his first award suggests that there have been more, which there have not. Accolades may come but, in the meantime, he is having a ball writing mystery stories and crime thrillers and claims to have more than a hundred books forming an unruly queue in his head as they clamour to get out.

He lives in the south-east corner of England with a duo of lazy sausage dogs. Surrounded by rolling hills, brooding castles, and vineyards, he doubts he will ever leave, the beer is just too good.
