About The Author
Steve Barlow
Steve Barlow
Steve Barlow is one half of the writing duo “2Steves.” He has co-authored over 250 books with Steve Skidmore since they began their collaboration in 1988. Barlow was educated at Crewe Grammar School, Warwick University, and Nottingham University. His diverse career has included teaching, acting, stage management, and puppetry. He also spent four years teaching at a village school in Botswana before returning to the UK. The “2Steves” have toured extensively both domestically and internationally, participating in book festivals such as Edinburgh and Hay.
Steve Skidmore
Steve Skidmore is the other half of the “2Steves,” renowned as Britain’s most popular comedy writing and performing double act for young people. Born in Birstall, near Leicester, he studied English at Nottingham University, where he also dedicated time to sports and various jobs, including counting pastry pie lids. Skidmore trained as a teacher of Drama, English, and Film before becoming a full-time author with Steve Barlow. He resides in Leicester and is an enthusiastic rugby fan.
Eduard Coll
Eduard Coll, known as Edu, has been drawing and painting his favorite anime characters since childhood. He attended an art academy in his hometown, where he found inspiration among adult artists. Edu graduated with degrees in Animation and Video Games from CEV Barcelona in 2016, followed by Illustration from Escola Joso in 2019. He then launched his professional illustrating career. Edu finds inspiration in reading books and comics, watching films and TV shows, and following his favorite artists. He hopes to own a cat someday.
