About The Author
Stephen King
Joshua Gans is Foundation Professor of Management (Information Economics) at the Melbourne Business School, University of Melbourne. He has lectured on microeconomics, competition, and contracting issues since 1996 and holds a PhD from Stanford University. In 2001, he co-founded the economic consulting group, CoRE Research.
Stephen King is a Commissioner with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission. Before joining the ACCC, he was Professor of Economics in the Department of Economics and Professor of Management (Economics) at the Melbourne Business School, University of Melbourne. He received his PhD from Harvard University.
Both Joshua Gans and Stephen King are co-authors (with Robin Stonecash) of the Pacific Rim edition of Greg Mankiw’s Principles of Economics.
