Critics Review

“Could occupy children on rainy days or car journeys and may even interest some into becoming gardeners!”

“The lively detailed pictures offer plenty of additional opportunities for discussion and learning - and then encourage your child to get outside to see what they can spot. An excellent way to stimulate an interest in nature with lots of entertainment value.”

About The Author

Stella Maidment

Stella Maidment has written story books, puzzle books, activity books and retellings of classics. Her work includes a major updating of Enid Blyton’s Noddy stories, and, with a co-author, the creation of a best-selling course for teaching English as a foreign language to primary school children.

Joelle Dreidemy has drawn and painted for as long as she can remember. After graduating from the prestigious Emile Cohl School she moved to Paris, where she now illustrates for English, American, French and Korean publishers.

Emiliano Migliardo is a cartoon illustrator, a career that he knew he would want to pursue ever since his childhood days of watching cartoons. His favourite shows were The Pink Panther, The Three Stooges and The Simpsons. Emiliano feels that his style generally reflects his personality; his work tends to be neat, well defined, fun and colourful. He works and lives in Buenos Aires with his wife, his son and his dog Lenny, a Chihuahua.
