Stanley Newman
Stanley Newman is the crossword editor for Newsday, a newspaper in Long Island, New York. His crosswords are syndicated worldwide to over 100 daily, Sunday, and Internet newspapers. As a puzzle creator, his work has appeared in Prevention, People, Sport, and Businessweek magazines.
Newman is the author or editor of more than 125 books. He has organized and conducted numerous puzzle and trivia events across the United States, including four seminars at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C., and, in 2007, the inaugural crossword tournament at Yale University. He resides in New York with his wife and three grown children.
