Sonia York-Pryce
Sonia York-Pryce is a dancer and interdisciplinary artist, trained in classical ballet and contemporary dance in the UK and now based in Australia. Her doctoral research, ‘Ageism and the Mature Dancer’ documents, through interviews with older professional dancers over the age of 40 still performing, how they navigate ageing and discrimination; her dance films investigate themes of the ageing body and dance.
