In the early hours of Good Friday, April 2019, Gerald Corrigan was shot with a crossbow outside his home on Anglesey. The attack proved fatal. The murderer was caught and convicted, but there remain many unanswered questions. The most perplexing being: why?

Journalist Siôn Tecwyn covered the case at the time. Working with Meic Parry, producer of ‘The Crossbow Killer’ podcast, he explores the events leading up to the murder and the subsequent investigation. Originally from Anglesey, Siôn Tecwyn has been a journalist for over forty years. He started as a trainee with local newspapers in Gwynedd and Anglesey, and then joined BBC Wales in Bangor, where he worked as a reporter, mainly for Welsh language news programmes. He covered the investigation into the murder of Gerald Corrigan and subsequent court case. Siôn was also one of the first journalists to report on what later became known as the Post Office Scandal. Meic Parry is an award-winning audio producer and sound engineer. Originally from Llandwrog, North West Wales, he has lived in Cardiff for 20 years. Meic produced and presented ‘The Crossbow Killer’ podcast, which explored the 2019 murder of Gerald Corrigan and earned multiple award nominations and wins. In addition to his podcasting work, Meic has worked on a wide range of radio shows and large-scale sporting events. Outside of work, he enjoys music, cycling, and passionately supporting the Welsh football team.
