About The Author
Simon Mole
Simon Mole is an acclaimed children’s writer, performer and National Poetry Day ambassador, with over ten years of experience using poetry with children and families. The videos on his YouTube channel are used by hundreds of thousands of children and teachers across the world each year, and have been featured on BBC Bitesize. He is the author of three picture-books: Kites, illustrated by Oamul Lu, followed by I Love My Bike (shortlisted for The Sunday Times Children’s Sports Book of the Year) and I Love My Cat, both illustrated by Sam Usher. Simon lives in Berkshire.
Adam Ming grew up on Penang Island, Malaysia, where you will find the best food hidden in back alleys and world heritage buildings. He worked as a creative director for a decade on a number of apps and is now a full-time illustrator for clients like Bloomsbury, Wren and Rook, Hardie Grant, Scholastic, and Andersen Press. He believes every day is a mini adventure that adds up to a grand adventure. He now lives in Kuala Lumpur with his wife and kid. His current adventures are raising his daughter, illustrating children’s books, and plotting against clever foxes.
