Simeon Peter Sungi
Simeon P. Sungi holds an LL.B (Hons), LL.M in International Human Rights Law, M.A. in Criminology and Criminal Justice, and a Ph.D. in Criminal Justice.
Dr. Sungi is an Associate Professor of Criminal Justice at the United States International University in Nairobi, Kenya. He is a lawyer by profession and is licensed to practice law in Tanzania and Kenya. He is also a former United Nations International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda staff member.
His research focuses on law and justice and policy reform issues in the global south. Dr. Sungi is a passionate advocate for human rights and crime prevention policies that are scientifically driven. He has published in numerous scholarly journals and edited books.
