About The Author
Seth Alexander Thévoz
Dr Seth Alexander Thevoz is a freelance historian and journalist. He holds degrees from the Universities of Cambridge, London, and Warwick. He is a former research associate of the History of Parliament Trust and Nuffield College, Oxford.
His first book, Club Government, was shortlisted for the Whitfield Prize. His investigative work with openDemocracy was shortlisted for a British Journalism Award.
Dr Thevoz has been working on the history of London clubs for 14 years. He was librarian of a major London club for over 10 years and has been a speaker and consultant in clubs across four continents.
