Sergey Nikitin-Rimsky, PhD. is a musician and a historian specializing in cities and architecture of the 20th century. He has taught architectural history at universities in Moscow and held visiting professorships at the University of Verona and Politecnico di Milano. Nikitin-Rimsky is also the founder of VeloNotte, a series of nocturnal architectural bike rides held in various cities including Rome, London, Istanbul, Berlin, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Irkutsk, New York, Ivanovo, Kazan, Florence, and Verona.
