Selina Brown

Selina Brown (Author)

Selina Brown is an Author, Marketing Consultant, and Event Producer. At 16, she became the Youth MP for Nottingham. Her passion for words led her to earn two Degrees and a Masters by the age of 21. After living and working internationally, Selina founded Little Miss Creative, an award-winning Female Development Agency that empowers girls in schools across the UK. During the pandemic, she wrote the Nena picture book series, which gained popularity in 2020. The same year, Selina launched the Black British Book Festival, an event dedicated to celebrating new and emerging Black British authors across all literary genres.

Maxwell A. Oginni (Illustrator)

Maxwell Afolabi Oginni is a Nigerian-born, London-based animator and illustrator. Classically trained in 2D character animation, he has over 14 years of experience in the mainstream industry. Maxwell has worked as a director, animator, and illustrator for TV commercials, music videos, and popular children’s entertainment productions, including ‘Mr Bean: The Animated Series’, ‘Hey Duggee’, ‘School of Roars’, and ‘JoJo & Gran Gran’. He has developed his own distinct style, establishing himself as a skilled and ambitious creative with a fresh and dynamic approach. His unique artworks have been recognized by various institutions and highly respected industry professionals throughout his career.
