About The Author

Sasan Zahmatkesh

Dr. Sasan Zahmatkesh currently holds a researcher position in the Department of Chemical Engineering, School of Engineering and Science, Tecnológico de Monterrey, Puebla Campus, Mexico. His research interests include wastewater, microplastics, membranes, biomass conversion to biofuels, biodiesel synthesis and cleaner biofuel processes. He is the author of more than 50 peer-reviewed journal publications, 15 international conference proceedings, and one Iranian patent. He currently serves as a reviewer for 5 international journals in the field of engineering and sciences.

Dai-Viet N. Vo is deputy director of the Institute of Applied Technology and Sustainable Development, Nguyen Tat Thanh University, in Vietnam. He worked as the principal investigator and co-investigator for 23 different funded research projects related to sustainable and alternative energy, and published two books, 15 book chapters, more than 300 peer-reviewed journals including 101 prestigious review articles, and more than 80 conference proceedings. Dr. Vo is an assistant subject editor for the International Journal of Hydrogen Energy (Elsevier) and guest editor for several special issues in high-impact factor journals such as the International Journal of Hydrogen Energy (Elsevier), Comptes Rendus Chimie (Elsevier), Chemical Engineering Science (Elsevier), and Topics in Catalysis (Springer), amongst others.

Prof. Suresh Sundaramurthy is Head of the Department of Chemical Engineering at Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, Bhopal, India. He completed his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from IIT Roorkee and has held postdoctoral and visiting faculty positions at international institutions. His research interests include catalysts, reactor design, environmental biotechnology, waste-to-energy, nanoengineered materials, biofuels, and green hydrogen. He has supervised numerous Ph.D. and master’s students and has substantial experience in R&D projects and consultancy.

Mohammad Reza Sarmasti Emami is a PhD student at Sistan and Baluchestan University of Zahedan, Iran, where received his master’s degree and licentiate degree. He is currently working on two-phase close thermosyphons and their optimization. He has authored more than 50 peer-reviewed journal publications, 20 international conference proceedings, three Malaysian patents, and four books. He currently serves as a reviewer for five international high impact journals in the field of engineering and sciences.
