Critics Review
Until a uniform set of standards for locating grey literature is created, the information contained in this book should provide a welcome stopgap by suggesting best practices, methods, and approaches. The subject matter of the book should have wide appeal but may be of particular interest to anyone in the health and social sciences fields, and especially anyone involved in creating systematic re-views. * Journal of the Medical Library Association *A potentially indispensable resource for a broad range of medical librarians. Practical information, decision guides and suggested reference interview questions make this thorough and comprehensive book a must-read for those new to comprehensive literature searching as well as those looking to expand their mental model for locating grey literature. – Katherine Eastman, clinical and technical services librarian, College of Community Health Sciences, The University of AlabamaThrough her mix of sassy comments, common sense, and solid searching tips, Sarah Bonato has managed to weave humor, popular culture and some literary flair into the potentially dry topic of grey literature and all its permutations. A great book to have on your shelf to refer to as needed. – Mindy Thuna, head, Engineering & Computer Science Library, University of Toronto
