About the Author

Sara Powter lives on the NSW Central Coast. She spent her childhood with her parents, travelling Australia, fishing, and collecting shells, and she learned to love Australia. She met and married Stephen, a minister in the Newcastle Anglican Diocese in NSW who retired in November 2020.When ‘Covid 19’ hit, 'time' was available to pen some of the stories Sara had wanted to write. Three stories were finished within four months. Four years later, book #30 is nearly complete. The inspiration for these novels stems from her passion for Colonial Australia, her convict ancestors, and the remarkable history of this incredible country, Australia!
