Now blissfully married, Nathaniel and Elizabeth Bonner, the hero and heroine of Into The Wilderness, have settled into their new life together in the North American frontier. Meg Henderson was born in Glasgow, spending part of her childhood in Drumchapel, on the outskirts of Clydebank. She is a journalist and the author of one previous book, Finding Peggy (Corgi), her memoir of a Glasgow childhood, published to great success in 1994. Her husband used to work in Clydebank's shipyards.
