HISTORYMAKERS - from a wheelchair user's perspective

My name is Samantha Borst. I am 48 years old. I have been disabled from birth and a wheelchair user since my teenage years. I first became interested in football aged 9 (Mexico 1986) because of the players’ short shorts! I began to follow my local football team several years later. I joined the Grimsby Town Disabled Supporters Club in 2006 to attend many of the team’s away fixtures. I wrote this book as a lasting memory of the team’s achievements in the 2023 FA Cup Campaign and to promote better facilities for disabled supporters. I also enjoy listening to music, ten-pin bowling and socialising with friends.
