About the Author

Sally Prue isn't sure where she was born, but from the time she was adopted she grew up in Hertfordshire. She lives there still, close to the woods that form the setting for Cold Tom and Ice Maiden. Before she was an author, Sally worked in a paper mill with the rest of her family. She nowlives with her husband and has two daughters. When she is not writing she enjoys reading and is strongly interested in nature, arts and crafts.
