About The Author
Sally-Anne Wherry
Sally-Anne is a specialist nurse in Parkinson’s, with experience with older people in complex care situations. She lectures on Long-Term Conditions and Complex Care at the University of Gloucestershire. Her experience of working in a Chronic Care team in Australia allows her to bring a unique perspective to writing.
Nikki joined the team at the University of Gloucestershire in 2019. Previously, she worked as a lecturer in a London University, teaching third-year BSc students the module ‘Leading Care for Complex Patients’. Nikki is a neonatal intensive care nurse and regularly engages with the role. She has been a member of the Bereavement Team, offering support and advice to patients’ families and professional colleagues. This developed her interest in ergonomics, which she has researched throughout her MSC studies. Nikki is passionate about being involved in the provision of excellent education to the future healthcare professional.
