About the Author

Rough Guides are written by expert authors who are passionate about both writing and travel. They have detailed knowledge of the areas they write about--having either traveled extensively or lived there--and their expertise shines through on every page. It's priceless information, delivered with wit and insight, providing the down-to-earth, honest read that is the hallmark of Rough Guides. Owen Morton is based in North Yorkshire, and has written or contributed to numerous Rough Guides, ranging from Pembrokeshire to the Philippines. When not exploring the world, he entertains himself by writing a blog about 1980s cartoons. His favourite animal is the wonderfully expressive and permanently furious manul, native to Central Asia and sadly not Shetland. Follow him on Instagram at @owenmortonmanul. Adam Prince lives in Hampshire, but has been travelling since his university days. He's found himself repeatedly returning to the Caucasus, particularly Armenia, which he loves for its fantastic scenery, history, food and people. Natalie Taylor is a keen traveller and photographer with a special interest in Eastern Europe and post-Soviet spaces. She particularly enjoyed exploring Azerbaijan and considers Baku one of the world's most fascinating cities.
