About The Author

Rose Hudson-Wilkin

Rose Hudson-Wilkin was consecrated as Bishop of Dover in 2019, becoming Britain’s first black woman bishop. In this role she has responsibilities for the Diocese of Canterbury. From 2010 to 2019 she was Chaplain to the Speaker of the House of Commons, and has served as a Chaplain to the Queen and a priest vicar at Westminster Abbey. She has served as a priest in parishes in Wolverhampton, West Bromwich, Hackney in North East London, and the City of London.
