Rolf Hilmes
Rolf Hilmes served as a reserve officer in the Panzertruppe, receiving training on the Bundeswehr’s main battle tank, the Leopard. Following his military service, he transitioned into the armaments industry, working as a tank technology consultant. He later became a lecturer and department head at the Bundeswehr Academy. Since his retirement, Rolf Hilmes has dedicated his time to his interests, which include preparing presentations, articles, and books focused on tank technology.
