About The Author

Rochelle Bilow

Rochelle Bilow is a romance novelist and food writer. After graduating from culinary school and working as a restaurant cook in New York City, Rochelle moved to a small organic farm in Upstate New York. Her first book, The Call of the Farm, is a memoir about cooking and falling in love there.

She traded in her muck boots for high heels when she became Bon Appetit’s first-ever social media manager, a role she subsequently held at Cooking Light. Rochelle appeared on season one of Beat Bobby Flay and has also written for Food & Wine, Conde Nast Traveler, The Kitchn, Allrecipes, and The Spruce Eats.

She has published two contemporary romance novels featuring heroines who work in the food industry, Ruby Spencer’s Whisky Year and Effie Olsen’s Summer Special, and currently works as an editor at Serious Eats. When she’s not cooking or writing, Rochelle runs ultramarathons and hangs out with her corgi, Cedar. She lives in northern Vermont.
