About The Author
Robert White
Robert E. White is an Emeritus Professor of Soil Science in the Department of Resource Management and Geography, School of Land and Environment, The University of Melbourne, Australia. He is author of Principles and Practice of Soil Science, 4th Edition (Blackwell Publishing, Oxford, 2006) and Soils for Fine Wines (Oxford University Press, 2003). Mark P. Krstic is a researcher with over 23 years’ experience in the wine industry. Mark is Business Development Manager at the Australian Wine Research Institute and is active in research on climate change impacts, understanding the grape to wine quality continuum and supporting industry education. Mark has previously worked for the Grape and Wine Research and Development Corporation, the Victorian Department of Primary Industries and CSIRO. Mark is also a past President of the Australian Society of Viticulture and Oenology.
