About The Author
Robert Hoare
Robert Hoare’s interest in moths stems from his father’s hobby of collecting butterflies. With a Biology degree and a PhD in Insect Systematics, Robert works in Auckland at Landcare Research and has published several scientific papers.
Olivier ‘Olly’ Ball, originally from England, took a PhD (Waikato University) in insect-fungi relationships. He spent several years as a research scientist with AgResearch and is the sole or joint author of several journal and conference papers.
