About The Author
Riichi Ueshiba
Riichi Ueshiba (aka Reach Ueshiba; born 1969) is a veteran comic artist from Fukuoka, Japan. He began developing his skills as a comic artist while attending Waseda University in Tokyo in 1990. After his second year of college, Ueshiba wrote the script for his debut work, Discommunication. He submitted the work to Kodansha’s Chiba Tetsuya Contest for New Artists, where it won the General Award in 1991, granting him the opportunity to work on a series for the publisher. His latest work, Mysterious Girlfriend X, was adapted into an animated TV series.
