This book is not only intended for owners of off-road engines from the 70s and 80s, but is also relevant for engines from the 50s and 60s. Step-by-step Burns guides the enthusiast with the purchase of special tools and their use, and the possible alternatives for this. Ricky Burns has been an avid restorer of motorcycles since the 1970s, having personally restored many classic motorbikes from that era – small Yamaha 2-strokes all the way up to large multi-cylinder machines. Deciding to share his experience and knowledge of classic motorcycle restoration with like-minded enthusiasts, Ricky penned his first book, Beginners Guide to Motorcycle Restoration, which was quickly followed by several other restoration guides.
