Description

In every gorge, secrets run deep.

An ill-fated encounter with Adolf Hitler after the Austrian Anschluss of 1938 sends young Ilsa and her family on the run. Daring to hope they'd found safety on the other side of the world, the inexorable global conflict follows them into Australia's vast Katherine Gorge, where secrets are carved . . . and scars last forever.

When the perilous journeys of this beautiful Austrian woman and a wayward Australian commando collide, the two discover escaping a war is only half the battle . . . they still have to find their way home. The explosive events that follow will determine whether physical chasms can ever separate true love.
