Rebecca Schier-Akamelu

Rebecca Schier-Akamelu is an American author who writes horror novels and non-fiction, which is usually much more positive. She loves the horror genre for all the dark thoughts it makes us confront and the way it changes people–for better or for worse. Her work has been published in the Chicken Soup for the Soul anthology and her short story “From One to the Next” was nominated for a Pushcart Prize. She is a member of the Horror Writers Association, and encourages her husband, three children, and dog to get excited every time spooky season comes around. Negative Images is her debut novel.
