This work contains almost everything written by Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharshi, his inspired compositions, and a number of translations from ancient Advaitic texts, representing the essence of his teachings. About the Author
Maharashi was born in 1879 into a Brahman family. His father died suddenly in 1892 and this death experience led to his Self Realization. He moved to the sacred mountain Arunachala, Tiruvannamalai, which he never left.
