Ralph Macchio
Douglas Wolk
Douglas Wolk is a multiple-Eisner Award-winning author of All of the Marvels and Reading Comics. He has written about comics and pop music for publications such as The New York Times, Time, The Washington Post, Rolling Stone, and The Believer. Wolk also teaches comics history at Portland State University.
John Buscema
John Buscema (1927–2002) began his career at Timely Comics in 1948, drawing Westerns, crime comics, and horror/suspense stories. After a period working in commercial art, he returned to Marvel Comics in 1966, where he developed a distinctive style characterized by elegance and realism. His extensive credits include work on The Silver Surfer, The Avengers, Sub-Mariner, The Fantastic Four, and many Conan the Barbarian stories. In 1978, he collaborated with Stan Lee on the influential instructional book, How to Draw Comics the Marvel Way.
Stan Lee
Stan Lee (1922–2018) is renowned for co-creating iconic superheroes that propelled Marvel Comics to the forefront of the industry. His legendary creations include Spider-Man, the Incredible Hulk, the X-Men, the Fantastic Four, and Iron Man, among hundreds of others. As Chairman Emeritus of Marvel, Lee also served as Chief Creative Officer of POW! Entertainment, where he developed new characters and stories across various media, including publishing, film, television, and stage.
