Rachel Paris holds a Master of Creative Writing from the University of Auckland and was awarded the Phoenix Prize for her manuscript. Her debut novel, See How They Fall, became a #1 bestseller and was the bestselling fiction debut in New Zealand in 2025. Rights have been optioned for a limited TV series by a Hollywood production company.
Rachel came to writing after an international legal career. She holds a Masters in Law from Harvard Law School and practiced law in London for many years before returning to her native Aotearoa New Zealand.
