professor Andrew Westoll
Andrew Westoll is an award-winning journalist, professor, and former primatologist-in-training whose writing explores the human–animal relationship. His previous nonfiction book, the national bestseller The Chimps of Fauna Sanctuary, was awarded the Charles Taylor Prize for Literary Nonfiction. Andrew teaches creative writing and English literature at the University of Toronto Scarborough. He is also a Fellow of the Oxford Centre for Animal Ethics. He is based in Toronto.
