Prof Peter Cooper
Peter Cooper
Emeritus Professor of Psychology at the University of Reading, Peter Cooper is also a practicing clinical psychologist and Series Editor of the ‘Overcoming’ series. He is Professor of Psychopathology at the Winnicott Research Unit at the University of Reading. Recognized as one of the world’s experts in the treatment of bulimia, he has more recently focused on the treatment of postpartum depression.
Patricia Graham
Professor Patricia Graham is a distinguished HCPC-regulated Clinical Psychologist and medico-legal expert. She is an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society, a title awarded in recognition of several years’ experience and contribution to the field of psychology. She is a recognized leader as retired Director of Psychological Services for NHS Lanarkshire, Scotland. Professor Graham has thirty years of experience in mental health service delivery, evidenced psychological interventions, and clinical governance. Prior to retirement, she was the Joint Chief National Assessor for the profession of Psychology (UK) and Lead National Assessor for Scotland on behalf of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and Association of Clinical Psychologists (ACP). She is co-author of Overcoming Bulimia Nervosa, Overcoming Anorexia Nervosa, and The Cambridge Guide to Interpersonal Psychological Therapy (IPT), and author of many book chapters. She is also author of NHS Inform Self Help Guides: Depression and Anxiety and a series editor for Cambridge University Press. Professor Graham acts as an advisor and mentor to medical defence barristers, providing expert psychological insight and training.
