Pradip Kumar Ray retired from a long career in banking, concluding as Chief Manager (Offing) at the Purshura Branch of State Bank of India (SBI). He held various roles, including Branch Manager, HR Manager, and System Manager, accumulating extensive experience across banking functions. He pursued a hobby of magic and writing, publishing his first book, “Prerana,” in 2013. His writings have appeared in newspapers and magazines, and his magic expertise earned him a mention in the Magicians’ World Directory.

Academically, he holds a BSc (Honours in Physics), MSc (Computer Science), and a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications (PGDCA). He is a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)(Global) and a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Banking (CAIIB). He also completed certification courses in photo, video, and audio editing, animation, hardware, cobol programming, “Praggya” Hindi courses, and a certification from the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI).

Post-retirement, he collaborates with academies as a banking subject-matter expert. He contributes to stock photography, writes articles, and publishes his own books. To date, he has authored over 125 books, many available through online platforms.
