Ilya’s first encounter with Japanese Anime was Ghost in the Shell. This experience at the age of 6 led Ilya to delve into the world of Anime and Manga. Ilya started learning how to draw from age 11 and studied architecture at University in Moscow. To pursue a career in a creative field, Ilya joined a game developing company. Ilya then worked as a concept artist and director at a motion comic company, producing Anime-like motion pictures. During this time, Ilya began posting illustrations on social media. In 2014, Ilya moved to Japan to build a career in a country he had long dreamed of working in. In 2016, Ilya published Momentary, which became a bestseller and established his name in the industry.
